WORKSHOPS AND MASTER CLASSES

Some of the most valuable experiences I ever provided for my choral ensembles and private students involved working with guest conductors and clinicians. Bringing another musician into the space to provide targeted insight allowed the students AND me to gain new understandings about everything from vocal technique to repertoire strategies to physicality and more. I can offer a variety of workshop and master class experiences to bring similar experiences into your classroom or studio.

Choral and Vocal Opportunities

As a Choral Education Specialist, I have a unique outlook on working with student choirs, having spent more than a decade teaching my own such groups in many different settings. As a guest in your classroom or studio, I will work with you, the teacher/conductor, to understand how I can best support the singers' journey towards greater knowledge of repertoire genres, performance considerations, vocal technique, and audience engagement.

Body Mapping Opportunities

As a Licensed Body Mapping Educator, I provide insight and clarity on graceful and efficient movement in musical activities. I use a variety of movement explorations, skeletal models, and anatomical images to help musicians more accurately understand how the body is designed to work as a coordinated whole. These activities can be tailored to ensembles, to individual musicians, to singers, to instrumentalists, or to conductors.

Offerings and Fees
1-hour workshop: $100 plus travel costs

Half-day (2-4 hours) workshop: $300 plus travel costs

Full day (5-7 hours) workshop: $600 plus travel costs

Things to Note:

Each workshop includes a 20-minute consultation in advance. We'll use that time to discuss your goals for the workshop and any additional information that may provide valuable context.
Any workshop may be available in a virtual format and will not require travel costs.
Travel costs will apply to any location that is more than 25 miles outside of Muncie, Indiana.
