Whether you are a musician or simply someone who enjoys music, it is widely acknowledged that music has the power to bring people together. As both music educator and professional musician, I desire to encourage a love of music beyond the bounds of a studio or a classroom.
On this website you will find information about private lessons, collaborative piano services, and rehearsal recordings. These services are available only by request, but I am always happy to connect with musicians in any capacity!
ABOUT
Mandy began taking piano lessons at the age of 5, sparking a lifelong love of music that would eventually lead to a career. She has served as a teacher and choral director in Oregon, California, Washington, North Dakota and Germany. As a private instructor, Mandy has given piano and voice lessons for close to twenty years. She finds great joy in helping to foster a love of music in students, providing opportunities for them to find confidence and achievement in their musical endeavors.
This fall, Mandy will step into a new role as the Assistant Teaching Professor of Choral Music Education at Ball State University. She is excited to share her experience and passion with generations of future music educators!
Mandy holds a BA in Music Education from California Baptist University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University, and a PhD in Music Education from the University of North Dakota. She is a Licensed Body Mapping Educator with ABME and is a member of NAfME, CMS, NATS, and ACDA.
